Homeward Global Repatriation is a division of J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, a sixth-generation family-owned business based in Northern Ireland.
With decades of experience facilitating numerous repatriations worldwide, families can rely on us to care for them and return their loved ones home safely.
We collaborate with international repatriation providers, insurers embassies, consulates, and local funeral directors, all whom trust our compassionate approach, bereavement support, and meticulous attention to administrative and details.

​We are part of a network of independent funeral directors across the UK who are NAFD and SAIF members. This means we can ensure families and corporate partners receive dedicated personal care, wherever they are located. We have established a professional track record of leading and supporting international repatriations, with collection or delivery to any UK location.

Our head office in Northern Ireland allows easy access to transport by air, and sea, as well as access to embassies and consulates. With a substantial mortuary, we can accommodate and care for the deceased for the longer time periods that can be required with international repatriations. This removes time pressures on families and partners when making decisions and arrangements.

A loved one is at the heart of all repatriations or funerals, so like any family we support, we’ll do whatever is needed to make it meaningful and personal even if they are on the other side of the world. With a team available 24/7, we can support families and partners in any time zone. We also use video calls and live streaming of services to connect families across thousands of miles.
